Industrial Visit @ Thailand

On 22’FEB’2011, a group of 10 students of MBA (GLOBAL) students waited at Thailand Airport for a flight back to New-Delhi. Unfortunately, they were at the end of their study trip to THAILAND.

As per our student’s experience, we feel that the whole week passed very quickly, as we had been very active during that time either studying or sightseeing.

We had a wonderful opportunity to study the “INTERNATIONAL MARKETING “with great professors –McKenzie who is the Business Development Director at SILPAKORN UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF THAILAND. We have gained a lot from his teachings and we discovered that other students would miss something special by not opting for this Thailand trip.

Furthermore, we have learnt about the Thailand culture, financial markets and Global marketing that reminded us about the differences between countries and therefore we need to understand these cultural nuances. We also visited “GEMS GALLARY–WORLD’S BIGGEST JEWELLERY STORE “and we realized that how big and industry can be and how the management of the same is chalked out to sustain its position in the global market.

During the week we had some excursions to famous places in Thailand such as –Coral Island in Pattaya, City tour in Bangkok, Temple tour in Bangkok, Safari World, Marine Park, Dream World, and I.T.City in Bangkok.

In this study trip we certainly have gained a lot that we will be able to use in our future careers and everyday life. We had a great time with friends and all the Ajarns, so we would finally like to thank NIMS and all those who helped organize an awesome 7 days trip in Thailand .A great time that will remain in our thoughts forever.
